Congratulations on 100!
Nice that you always share your opinions – would be very boring if we all always agreed all the time on the forum.
Keep it up!Congratulations on 100 caches.
I still find this to be the best milestone and hope you are having a great time with it.
Keep it up.Great job on surging forward with your families big numbers.
Your all quite insane in a very nice way doing caches at all hours of the day and night but family it the key word!
Keep it up.Wow Robin – 700 already?
You just started.
Keep it up and I look forward to the day you hit the 1000 mark.
Your doing fantastic!Nice job on 200 caches.
Care to share which has been your favorite so far?
Keep it up.
Got it on my list and will reply for sure soon. If for some reason I cannot make it I will be happy to let some other team use my kayaks.
Sounds like fun.Just to revive this subject as fall moves into Wisconsin, I have decided to list the trails done in Wisconsin by myself and spouse this year and list which we enjoyed most in order of preference.
1- Red Cedar Trail – Menonomie – this one should be one fantastic ride in a week or two when the colors are out. Great scenic ride without the colors. 28 miles roundtrip
2- Military 400 Trail – Elroy – Nice ride through some great small towns. 22 miles one way.
3- Sparta Elroy Trail – Elroy – great tunnels and scenary. Nice places to camp near Wilton. 32 miles one way
4- Capital City Trail Loop – Madison – includes the Capital City Trail, Southwest commuter trail and the Wingra Trail. 18.1 miles roundtrip
5- Sugar River Trail – New Glarus – scenic countryside. 23 miles one way.
6- Glacial Drumlin Trail – Cottage Grove/Waukesha – variety of scenary and small town Wisconsin. 50+ miles one way
7- Military Ridge Trail – Verona – Varied trails through some neat towns. Some near highway. – 41+ miles
8- Gandy Dancer – St. Croix Falls – 90+ miles I think – we only did 30. Not as scenic as many of the others and towns not as quaint.
9- Glacial River Trail – Fort Atkinson – a nice short trail will limited scenary. 13 miles round trip.
10- Janesville City Trail – Janesville – 20+ miles paved biking but hard to follow if your not from town.
Any suggestions on good trails is always welcome.
Out of state trail we have done:
1- Paul Bunyan Trail – Peqout Minnesota – great paved trail through some neat towns and areas. 90+ miles I believe – we only did 45.
2- KATY Trail – St. Charles Missouri – 230 mile trail across Missouri – still working on this one. Nice big trail.
3- St. Joes State Park Trail – Missouri – great paved trail with history and hills – hard! – round trip biking
4- Long Prarie Trail – Calidonia, Illinois – a nice flat ride close to home. Very few roads to cross. Limited scenary.
5- Perryville Bike Trail – Rockton, Illinois – very busy roads.
6- Fox River Trail – Geneva, Illinois – nice area to bike and tons of caches along the trail – this is the ultimate geocachers bike trail.
In my effort to be more politically correct (tongue in cheek) I have inserted the word silly in place of anal.
I shall save anal for some others I consider much more deserving of it (does that break my streak ???)Great milestone!
Remember it is not the numbers that count, it is the milestones.
Congratulations!Way to go – seems like you just hit a milestone.
Nice to meet you in New Glarus and keep up the fine caching.Good Job Alan!
Mike and yourself seem to be surging trying to catch or stay ahead of each other.
I don’t know of many who could keep up your pace.Congratulations!
Great job on 500. We are going through another flurry of milestones.
Its Great! The Holy Grail is a Milwaukee classic.
To archive it would be a shame.
At the time we found the cache, we assumed it was a miracle that the final lasted in that location. Making it a camo hide in the same location would have its issues too since you really do not want to be sifting and sorting in that particular location.I would think that a new final location would be in the proper spirit of things. Finding one as interesting would be a problem but perhaps an interesting camo hide nearby would be suitable.
Goodluck with whatever you decide.
I upped my COTM finds to 14 this weekend by doing:
Hello Wisconsin
Nector of the Gods
Little Falls Covert CacheAll very well done!
I think this caches, I mean catches me up on milestone congrats.
Way to go – 100 is still the best milestone! -
