One of my first finds was a free little library. They had a big packet in there about geocaching, and used a hollowed out book. It didn’t pop out, so I had to “test” a few books before grabbing it. I think it’s an effective way to hide.
I ended up borrowing a book and returning the next day to put in one of my own.
I don’t think you need to worry about muggles as much, either, since people expect people to be digging around for books in a free little library.
I’m really impressed with how WGA has partnered up with the DNR to make these geocaches something special. It’s nice to see government serving its purpose.
