Cache Rescue
We need your help! Active cache rescue missions exist for caches that are currently in trouble and need assistance. Many are archived and need a container picked up, or verified it is missing; where others may be looking for help repairing a cache because the owner isn’t currently able to.
Long term plans are to automate this process on the new website, but in the meantime, visit this link for a list of rescue missions.
Cache Rescue instructions:
- Check the cache page of the rescue mission to see if there are any updates, and if not, head out to tackle the cache rescue mission.
- Once complete, add a note (or record the find if rescuing a cache you haven’t previously found) on the cache page.
- Head on over to the Lonely Cache Game to log your rescue to notify the Lonely Cache Game/Cache Rescue Game administrators that the mission is complete and gather points in the Lonely Cache Game. Once verified, the mission will be removed from the list.
