Belmont Mound: WGA State Park Series

The park is operated by the Belmont Lions Club. Eighty acres in the northwest corner of the park are designated as Belmont Mound Woods State Natural Area. The park has 2.5 miles of hiking trails. The trails go around the base of the mound, through the center of the park and to a loop in the northeast corner of the park. The trails are mostly for hiking, but off-road bikes may also use the trails. Wisconsin so watch out for more in this series that encourages geocachers to explore the natural resources in this beautiful state of ours.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to John Arthur and Michael Degenhardt of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
