2023 -2024 BOD Election Results!
We are excited to announce the results of this year’s WGA BOD election! This year we had a great turn out of candidates, voters, and even had a rarely seen tie-breaker election!

We also want to thank Carrie Nolin (CarrieO) and Lanisa Almaroad (ChronicallyTiredMom) for being willing to run for the WGA BOD. We hope to see these cachers at upcoming events!
Lastly, we want to thank our outgoing WGA BOD members Mark Olson (Chevyole), Maverick Martin (mavwitt), and Bethany Fredericks (BFredericks88), who have worked very hard to make the WGA the best it could be! If you see any of these cachers, be sure to thank them!
Geo 101 Display – unique caches needed
First, a big Thank You to Jacque Cody “jacquendoncody” for creating this wonderful Geo 101 display. She and Jodi Jilek Bauer “Jodibee” had created a similar one they have been using. Jacque recently created this duplicate for the WGA!
Second, we could use your help in completing this project. As part of the display, we are seeking donations of “sample” cache containers – if you have an “in disguise” or “creative” geocache container (see photos for examples of what we are looking for) that you would be willing to donate to this project, please bring it to the upcoming Chili Event!
The new display board will be set up at the Chili Event for everyone to view and hopefully add some fun, transportable creative geocache containers to it.
Details to come later on where this will be stored and how members can use it for Geo 101 classes or events!
Run off election for 4th position on the 2023-2024 BOD.

We have a tie! At the conclusion of the Board of Directors voting period we received a tie for 4th place! In order to break this tie we have created a one-week run off election open now. This election will conclude at 11:59 PM Sunday February 19th! Get out there and cast your votes!
